CAREERS AT UKANDU
Help us build a career tool people actually trust.
We are early-stage. We hire people who care about the science as much as the surface, and who can move with momentum on real problems.
01WHO WE'D HIRE NEXT
Four shapes we're actively interested in.
None of these are open requisitions with formal listings yet. If you read one and think “that is me”, write. We will respond, and if the timing is right, we will start a conversation.
ENGINEERING
Full-stack engineer.
You ship Next.js + FastAPI cleanly, care about latency and reproducibility, and would happily own a slice of the matching engine from prompt to PDF.
DESIGN
Product designer.
You can hold the visual system, the copy voice, and the UX rhythm in one head. The current design grammar is a foundation, not a constraint. You want to push it.
SCIENCE
Methodology lead.
Psychometrics, occupational psychology, or applied data science background. You like writing the kind of validation document a regulator would respect.
GROWTH
Distribution partner.
Schools, careers services, training providers. You can take Ukandu into cohorts and run a clean rollout. Comfortable with consent flows and education sales cycles.
02HOW WE WORK
A few things that matter.
01
Care about the working.
You read the methodology before you read the marketing. You can defend the reasoning behind a decision, not just the outcome.
02
Move with momentum.
Pilot-stage company. We ship daily, calibrate against real users, and pivot when the data says so.
03
Take ownership.
Whatever your role: own the outcome, name the trade-off, write the doc. We trust people to make calls.
04
Believe in the work.
Career direction matters. The people we want already feel this. The rest is craft.
03HOW TO WRITE
Brief replies welcome.
Email careers@ukandu.com with:
- 01. Which shape (from the four above) you read yourself in.
- 02. A link to something you have shipped or written.
- 03. One paragraph on what you would build first.
We read everything. Even if the timing is not right, we will reply.
